We welcome you to Refuge Event Space in Troy (1813 5th Ave) for easy-going crafting for all ages to introduce families to our week long summer programs this July & August.

Explore our beautiful space, relax and play in the courtyard, sit with us and make courageous flags. We'll have various materials to inspire creativity, exploration, and expression.

Creative Expression for Kids is a week-long summer program at Refuge Event Space in Troy offered for 5-11 year olds July 18-22, and August 15-19. We invite in the whole child and will create music, movement, storytelling, and art together and independently, fostering connections, learning from each other, relaxing, and enjoying summer break! Creative Expression for kids is co-facilitated by Anita Rua Hanson and Tara Rainstrom. Partial scholarships are available.
