Connect with your body and learn to release chronic tension in this 5-week introductory Somatic Movement series.
Somatics is a foundational movement practice that will help you become more aware of patterns and tension that are holding you back. It can help improve mobility, alleviate pain, and realign the bodymind connection.
You'll leave each class feeling more relaxed and grounded, and by the end of the series develop the awareness and tools to continue connecting to your body, moving with freedom, and releasing tension. We recommend attending the full series, offered at a discount, but drop-in sessions are available.
Classes will be held at Refuge Event Space in downtown Troy, NY. The 60 min classes will run 6-7 pm on Tuesdays, Feb 20-March 19, 2024.
This is a floor-based practice. Students should bring a yoga mat. Some will be provided if necessary.
$15/class or $65 for the whole series (recommended)
