Pleasure Playground

Connect to your body

Explore your turn on

Expand your capacity for pleasure

Do you long to feel more connected with your body?   Are you looking for something to uplift your spirits in the dark winter months? To bring more joy and pleasure into your life? Are you looking for a place to explore what pleasure means to you?

Join your guide to self-adoration & sensual exploration, Tara Rainstrom, in a journey of exploring pleasure through the senses. The art of pleasure is creating and enjoying experiences that elevate our mood and turn us on, it doesn't always have to be about getting wet in your panties but it sure is fun when you discover mundane things that turn you on.

This workshop meets over the course of four weeks in person at Refuge Event Space in downtown Troy. The dates are 3/1, 3/8, 3/15, and 3/22, we meet from 6:30 - 8:30pm

Payments are on a sliding scale. Please consider your financial situation, class privilege, and ability to meet your needs when reading the sliding scale price options:

Tickets are non-refundable unless the event is canceled by Refuge.

Think of our four-week journey together as a lab or playground if you will, where you get to talk about pleasure, have fun with the art of asking and receiving, learn different techniques to use solo or with a partner, and explore options of engaging the senses in your pleasure research through smell, taste, touch, and sound. This is a clothes-on experience and a container to create your own definition of pleasure and have fun with trying new ways to experience it. This limited offering is a container for femmes (identified & assigned) who are seeking to expand their capacity for pleasure.

What happens when you invite more pleasure into your life and you learn new ways of experiencing pleasure? You become more connected to your body, you expand your knowledge of what turns you on, you have new tools to manage stress and anxiety, you discover ways to connect with your partner or yourself, and you have more fun.

Your guide through this journey is Tara Rainstrom.  Tara’s background in dance and studying the art of pleasure centers around connecting with the body as an act of reverence and adoration.  She designs and facilitates experiences for humans to explore identity and pleasure through creative expression and somatic practices. Tara is currently residing in Troy, NY on the compound that houses Refuge Event Space and the Whimsical Carriage House. When Tara isn’t hosting or facilitating events she is dancing, playing in the woods, connecting with her body in pleasure practices, or in community with other wild and weird humans.
