With a focus on the woman experience, L.Artistry brings to you, their own view on the experiences of womanhood, motherhood, the losses and triumphs of women around the world. This exhibit is a celebration of what it means to embody our feminine energy, love ourselves, experience love, and to break the chains placed on us for centuries.

My name is Lindsay, but most of my friends call me Linds. I have been an artist for as long as I can remember, but only now have I truly given myself the chance to embrace my artistry fully. I have dedicated the last 7 years to being a great mother, and now I want to be the woman my 3 young sons can look up to by fulfilling my purpose. The concept behind all of my art is women’s empowerment. As a woman, I have suffered, struggled, fought and cried, scratched and clawed my way out many dark places. I have learned that the female experience is something to be proud of. As complex creatures, women hold an unmeasurable amount of power. As a woman of color, I have found my strength and independence by embracing my roots, pursuing self love, and navigating motherhood to 3 boys who will grow to be strong black men.

I want my events to provide an experience where humans can connect through conversation and company to discuss the woman experience. To peer through the looking glass, through my eyes and what I have gone through. I encourage expression in many forms, I encourage connections, tough conversations, laughter, and even tears. Please join me as I navigate these new experiences as a black female visual artist.
